Coming, Going; Typhoons in, Summer Out; Goodbye Amihan, Welcome Habagat.

Delfin L and Edwin T are in town. Del planed in with his family on May 21 and scheduled to fly back to LA on June 7. While in the country, they enjoyed the scenic spots in Palawan, Bohol, and Cebu. He will be back again in Feb 2019, hopefully in time for the homecoming. Edwin, on the other hand, silently entered the Philippine space on May 24 with Marianne and twin daughters Tricia and Vicky, both graduates of US Coastguard Academy. Hooray to Bungming Edwin!

Our best wishes to Iking who after almost a year of therapy in Manila finally left for New York on May 19, stronger and a new man. Among those who visited Iking upon his arrival in September 2017 are Nick, Gil, Sammy, Jardi, and Paco, while those who sent him off on May 18 are Paco, Juni, Obols, Rainier, and Mie.

Did you know that Noel D joined the Alveo Ironman in Davao City on March 25 and finished easily his swimming event in the relay? Unfortunately, we did not have the chance to celebrate with him because he had to fly back to US immediately after his feat. Congrats mistah!

Motorcycle squad. Mie is slowly but surely putting up a squad of NMAX riders to rule the highways. From being solo, now he has Rainier for a buddy cruising mostly parts of Laguna and Quezon. Signing up are Emil and Obe, who are big bikers.

Birthday fellowship. The class was again treated with overflowing “boodles”. The March celebrators led by Nick, Ted, Herbert, and George held the fellowship at Gloria Maris Greenhills on May 3.

The “April Boys” led by Larry & Joji on April 18 at the Greenside Room, Villamor Golf Club; and the May group composed of Emil, Jardi, and Onay at the Gloria Maris on May 24.

Efren Yebra, the most senior celebrator at 65, hosted a party with a big bang at AFPCOC Camp Aguinaldo on April 7;

while Dante Costes at 60, and one of the youngest in the class, serenaded Malou with love songs during his birthday bash on April 12 at the PA Clubhouse.
